Fascinating chart porn for Doctor Who fans

This doesn’t have squat to do with sports in science-fiction, but BuckBokai’s got a couple of minutes and io9 just keeps refusing to publish the fascinating work of “Many Eyes,” an IBM-based outfit dedicated to “democratiz[ing] visualization and to enabl[ing] a new social kind of data analysis.”

This collection of tutti-frutti colored bubbles is awesomely entitled “Doctor Who villains and monster since 1963,” which pretty much speaks for itself. BuckBokai would levy one complaint, though: Since Doctors Six, Nine, Ten and Eleven were all working at least in part under a 45-minute episode length standard, wouldn’t this chart be more representative if based on screen time?

In any case, you may see the fully-functional chart here. And for no good reason save possibly reminiscing about some of those classical baddies (the Yeti are returning for Christmas! The Yeti are returning for Christmas!), the classic Orbital remix clip follows.
